The Airport implemented its ISO14001 environmental management system to better understand and manage its environmental risks to demonstrate to its customers and the wider community that environmental performance was embedded within its business processes. To maintain objectivity and impartiality, the Airport identified a need for an independent consultant to support the implementation and maintenance of the management system though a structured internal audit program.
